Laurie Jinkins

Laurie Jinkins is the first woman and first lesbian Speaker of the Washington House. She began her career in litigation for the state Attorney General’s Office, fighting child abuse and neglect. Her priorities include affordable housing, public health, and mental health services. She currently serves on the boards of the Tacoma Rotary 8 and Fair Housing Washington.
