Sharifa Wahab

Afghani immigrant Sharifa Wahab settled in Las Vegas nearly 30 years ago as a dentist, single mother, and caregiver to aging relatives. Her first-hand experience caretaking and with the healthcare system motivated her activism. Her parents taught her the value of community service which is why she is running for Assembly. She will advocate for reproductive freedom, education, and protecting democracy.
