Elena Parent

Elena Parent was elected to the State House in 2010, as one of only 12 Democrats in the nation to unseat a Republican incumbent. Since being elected to the State Senate in 2014, she has focused on education, healthcare, and gun reform. Parent is Chairwoman of the Democratic Caucus, and is an attorney by trade. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and their two sons.
