Daniele Monroe-Moreno

Retired NLVPD Corrections Officer and Speaker Pro Tem Daniele Monroe-Moreno is the first African American woman to hold a leadership position in the State Assembly. Recently she was appointed to the Governor’s Workforce Development Board and the Advisory Board on Maternal & Child Health. In 2020 she won the 2020 African American Trailblazer Community Activism and Politics Award.
