Mai Xiong

Mai Xiong was born in a Thai refugee camp. She immigrated to the U.S. at age 3. A graphic designer turned small business owner, Xiong is committed to supporting small businesses, advocating for living wages, and investing in public schools. As the first Asian American and former refugee on the Macomb County Board of Commissioners, she champions community empowerment and inclusive leadership.
