Minnesota’s Lieutenant Governor, Peggy made history as the first Native American woman elected to statewide executive office in the United States. Known for her dedication to children, families, and Indigenous communities, she has expanded access to education and economic opportunities across Minnesota. Peggy is now aiming to take her leadership to the federal level as a candidate for the United States Senate.

As Milwaukee Common Council Alderperson and former Wisconsin State Representative, JoCasta broke barriers as the first Latina and first out bisexual member of the Wisconsin State Legislature. She’s been a tireless advocate for affordable housing, immigrant rights, and working-class families. This year, she is bringing her experience to a statewide stage as she campaigns for Wisconsin Secretary of State.

Representing Georgia’s District 97 in the State House, Ruwa is the first Muslim and first Palestinian-American woman to serve in that body.
